Out client’s Patient Monitoring Solutions business unit is focused on preventing and managing two patient conditions: Respiratory Compromise (RC), Cerebral and End-Organ Compromise (CEOC).

A Day in the Life

Responsibility for the sales activities, across Respiratory Monitoring Solutions UK South for the Pulse Oximetry, Capnography and Brain Monitoring portfolio.  This role will report to the Regional Sales Manager, UK South and will work in conjunction with the Sales Specialists to protect, grow and execute sales targets, in line with the RMS strategy and business plan.

Main Responsibilities

  • Achievement of sales targets, objectives, and initiatives in line with growth expectation for the RMS portfolio,
  • Primarily responsible for the protection and growth of base business in order to maintain and maximize existing sales opportunities utilizing Account Management and sales skills in line with strategic direction and tactics execution,
  • Building a thorough understanding of the RMS portfolio and their corresponding disease states, to deliver sales execution and provide customer education on the safe and effective use of our products,
  • Business development of both new and existing technologies through a combination of capital and consumables sales, whilst collaborating with Sales Specialists and Marketing to drive penetration, clinical awareness, and acceptance,
  • Solution selling to the NHS and private hospitals within the defined area,
  • Improving patient outcomes by adopting and delivering a value-based healthcare approach,
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of  competitor solutions in the UK; proactively communicating news to the sales team, marketing, and management teams,
  • To either lead or be actively involved in pre-purchase trials and evaluations, as well as instigation of product conversions,
  • Attendance at both internal and external meetings, workshops and exhibitions as required, which may include some out of hours working from time to time,
  • Build and maintain an effective network of key customers and stakeholders within the territory,
  • Completion of defined reports, customer records and corporate information within the reporting system, (e.g. SFDC) in its entirety. Submit all administrative tasks in a timely fashion and in accordance with team procedures to Line Manager.
  • The overarching goal of this role is driving sales execution through implementation of local sales and marketing strategies, enabling revenue growth through market development and share gain.

  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in independent successful execution against deadlines,
  • Natural ability to spot a business opportunity; able to persuade and influence others,
  • Sound presentation skills to educate and demonstrate products to a variety of clinical audiences,
  • Full clean driving licence,
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
